One hundred years of the Mother Road

Route 66 opened in 1926 — Chicago to Santa Monica, the first road trip America ever took together. In its centennial year, the rally drives all of it that can still be driven.

From Chicagoland to the Santa Monica Pier by way of St. Louis, Tulsa, Amarillo, Albuquerque — and one glittering detour through Las Vegas. No trailer queens; these cars get driven.
